DIY Tuna Salad

A tuna salad can be prepared using Albacore Tuna from either Wild Planet or Safe Catch brands. It can be mixed with either 365 Light Mayo or Greek Yogurt, as well as chopped Celery and Pepperoncini. Additionally, one can choose to include hot Cayenne sauce such as Crystal or Trappey's Red Devil sauce, or even add some white onion if desired.

Description

A simple and versatile tuna salad using high-quality tuna, Greek yogurt or mayo, celery, and pepperoncini. You can also add hot sauce and onion for extra flavor.

Ingredients
  • can Albacore Tuna (Wild Planet or Safe Catch)
  • 2 tbsp 365 Light Mayo or Greek Yogurt
  • cup Celery, chopped
  • tbsp Pepperoncini
  • tsp hot cayenne sauce (e.g., from Crystal, or Trappey’s Red Devil sauce (Optional)
  • 1/2 cup white onion (Optional)
Instructions
  1. Open the can of albacore tuna and drain the excess liquid.
  2. Chop the celery and onion (if using) into small pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the tuna, celery, and onion (if using).
  4. Add either Greek yogurt or mayo to the mixture and mix well.
  5. Optionally, add some chopped pepperoncini for a tangy kick.
  6. If you like it spicy, you can also mix in some hot cayenne sauce.
